I like the DOF of this onem but the dragon fly is just a tad to soft..... I also like to see this in the rule of thirds and not in the centre.....

Nice macro. I agree with the others about changing the cropping so your subject isn't in the center. Nice rich colors too.

Great subject. That is a spectacular color! The shallow dof does work, but I agree with tsheets, maybe just a wee bit more, not losing the bokeh, but just get a little bit more definition in the background. And I would definitely say in this case to get him out of the center :-) Ideally, I would say it would be great compositionally if he were at the lower right thirds intersection, looking into the shot. Bonus if that were to show the end of the leaf, which makes a nice leading line across the photo.

Interesting dragonfly. I don't think I've ever seen one this color. Really shallow DOF. Actually, I wouldn't mind a bit more depth if the background isn't too distracting. Definitely, crop in closer..try getting rid of the right 3rd of the frame, and about 20% off the bottom to start with, and go from there.

This is really stunning. Focus and color are incredible. My only suggestions would be to crop it much tighter and take the fly out of the dead center of the composition. Nice bokeh. It's a beautiful shot and looks like you nailed it. Show it off! :-)
