 Removed miniscule spots in paint job on fence, cropped, sharpened. Saturated colours slightly.
Taken in the late afternoon with 62mm, no flash, Exp. time was 1/320 sec as cars were whizzing by making flowers move, f-stop was 9. I took this thinking to use this as a 'Sympathy' card. As someone pointed out to me, one could say one was beside themself hence the shadows of the flowers. :-)

Maybe I should not have had the frame around the photo?

Hmmm... I wonder what your "Complimentatory Colors" submission looks like.... these colors would work perfectly for that challenge.

That is a lot of blue, but it sets off the yellow well. I like the shadows.

I love the repeated shadows. The blue and yellow works great as they are contrasting colors on the color wheel. I think to denote a death (or to me at least) a single bloom would have worked better. The shadow lends a sense of both sides of it's BEING, but with two, I almost want to say this would work great for "Getting Married" or "Anniversary" as the duality makes me think of two instead of one. Does that makes sense. The photo itself is awesome. I love the linear quality of it and the details are spot on. Great focus.

Very ice image Wonderful colours ... yellow on blue is always agreat colour combination. I think the crop on the right side is a little tight. Other than that, I really like it.
