Mt. Rainier from a rest stop. Taken on a Cross Country trip to Yakima for a race. The race was hot, hilly and hard, but I was glad to come out with this image.

What bothers me most about this image is the plants that are blurry and the amount of foilage framing the photo. I think that if the foilage was just on one side of the picture and it was only a small amount showing it would be better. I wish that you could have zoomed in more on the mountain so it would have been very clear to the viewer that it is your subject. The mountain is beautiful but it is so small? What you frame your subject with should be in focus, IMO.

Good idea, but I really dn't like the out of focus shrubbery in the foreground.

Interesting concept. The branches see to be in the way of your subject though.

Great picture with the depth of field. High mountain shots are so hard to get because of the haze. It really helps if you try to burn the mountain a little bit if you're doing B&W and you have a haze problem like that.

I'm curious what this would look like in color, it looks like a beautiful location. The blurry foreground is distracting to me.

I think that there is too musch foreground and not enough background.

This is an inspirational view. Black and white looks nice. The snow on the mountain could be a little whiter and maybe you could crop or reshoot to fill the frame with a little more mountain and a little less folliage. I find myself looking at the branches when I really want to see that mountain!
