Great shot. Very well done, the lighting/framing/angle is perfect.

Good piece of "city scape". Things we see that are sometimes overlooked. Center of interest caught with all object in focus and showing storyline.

Very nicely caught. This seems like a journalistic photo to me, something that would accompany a story about poverty, or can even say enough by itself to stand alone. The composition is very strong, the way the person is straining to pull the trolley creates a lot of tension. The long shadows give that feeling of either dusk or dawn (it's hard to tell), times of the day that have a special emotional impact on the viewer. I think I feel like giving this 10 since I had to look at it for so long to work out why I like it so much :)

This makes me remind myself how fortunate I am in life. Ample food, stable shelter, people that love me.... This socially conscious picture is depressingly incredible.

Wow, talk about a picture that tells a story! Did you try this in black and white? That would have helped eliminate some of the background "color" and made it seem more "bleak." Good job.

I like the mood the setting sun adds, a touch blurred though?

Thanks for including this -- both for the subject and as a reminder that photojournalism can include good photography.

I personally really like this photo. It conveys a strong image. I would have liked to see a sharper focus, and more of the shadows. But really good.

Very interesting capture. It looks like a little touch of sharpening might be useful, but it's a tough call because I also like it a little soft. Here's a suggestion I offer, but it's not something I'm letting influence the way I vote about this. Instead of the warm yellow tone of the picture, you might try giving it a colder blue tone in an editing program. It would help give it even more of a sense of isolation and desparation.

Is that a bathrobe? Classic street person shot. Would have liked to see a little sharper focus on this.

Great photojournalism. I like that you can't see the person's face.... this could be anyone, even ourselves.

Good capture! You might want to have a little off center subject (I'm considering the street person and the cart all one subject). A little extra room to the left might give less of a static feel, more like the person is moving forward.

Your local shopping cart guy has more stuff than ours. I wonder if that is a sign of wealth amongst the street people. Anyway, good job.
