looks nice and tasty.
i think a plain plate would improve the overall look of the picture

simple yet defined. nice job :)

The focus seems to be sharpest on the plate; a deeper DoF would have helped to put both the beverage and the food in focus and render the background slightly blurry. The crumbs on the plate are somewhat distracting, but mostly because they seem accidental. If there were more crumbs they wouldn't stand out so much.

I really like this shot, goor depth of field and nice textures; but the light is kind of harsh, it looks almost blown out in the upper left

Nice, not so sure of the straight down shot, would like to see it at a different angle.

This looks delicious, meets the challenge, and will be pushed ahead of the crowd in this competition. However, lack of a captivating feature that leaves me looking for a long time will probably keep it out of the top 10. Nice shot though!

i like the overhead angle of the shot, and the composition of pastries and coffee. i would be interested in seeing how this composition would have looked on a different colored plate/background. imo, the white on white on white gets a bit bright in the upper left section, which detracts from the photo.

I would find this much more interesting if shot from the level of the table and the diner was behind you with empty chairs, or people eating. AS it is, it just looks like it was shot over grandma's plate in the kitchen. I'd like the plate to just be solid white as the floral desigh is a tad distracting. The focus is good. The composition really isn't that bad, but those aerial type shots just sort of leave me uninterested.
