Did the coffee grounds intended for the left cup revolt? What's with the debris on the otherwise white background? "Casualties of Coffeehouse Warfare" does make a catchy title though. |

My coffee maker at home does this sometimes...... Ok image, needs something to spice it up a little, maybe steam coming out of the cups? meets the challenge......5 |

like the dirty coffee setting! the white background feels a bit too white to me, though. i would be interested in seeing the shadows played up a bit more to give some additional contrast and visual interest. |

I'm not sure if the smudges add to this. It gives it more grit, but.... NIce comp and lighting. |

This is an interesting idea and a lot of work has gone into it. If the intention of the message is "dirty and used" then your post-production needs to generate that. As it is, the greyscales are smooth and even with no noise. As a result, the message is lost and the image sort of fails to have the impact that is lurking there |
