A still life at last, no liquids running away, nor ice cream melting, nor models to get fed up! The result is what I wanted, a few office bits and pieces on black card, photographed under relatively low light, hence the long exposure. Very little post processing - tried lots but ended up preferring just a touch of NeatImage to take out the grain and sharpen it a little. Tried loads of different exposures, trying to get a black background but preferred the chocolate in this!

Very creative. Definately original and even humorous.
The one thing that I notice here that I think could be improved upon is the lighting. Look at especially the green writing utencils, and the orange one to the left. They are quite too bright, and have some light glare on them. I wonder if putting something between your subjects and your light source could have cut down on this glare.
The focus seems good. I think that the detail shown is really nice especially in the bubbles in the coffee.
The angle and framing/cropping are perfect in my opinion. I really like how it goes from bottom left to upper right. The large coffee in the middle also makes for something nice to look at.
The shadows from the items are a bit distracting, and the background color doesn't really appeal to me. It does make sense in an office setting though. Brown desk. While I do think it fits the theme, still doesn't make it too appealing.
Overall really neat.

Definintely a ten from me, though admittedly it scores higher on concept than execution. :-> The execution's all right, but not Freaking Amazing. Concept is really, really cute, though.

I used to have highlighters like that. I thought they came from Japan though. I've never seen another like it. This photo needs to be a little less flat and have a little more "wow"factor in it.

OK, I usually don't like these types of shots, but I must say that this is very well done! I like just about everything about it. Good work, nice sense of humor. 9 -danny

some of the elements of the composition seem blown out, but very creative! :)

Very creative. I'm not sure what the scapel is doing there. The colors seem washed out, especially on the felt pens. Might have liked to seen this on a black background perhaps. I really like your idea though and the way they are lined up on the diagonal. 6 Good luck in the challenge.

the background is distracting and the lighting is overexposed. Good idea

Very cool use of three-dimensional objects to make a two-dimensional image. Great technique not often utilized by photographers. I'd perhaps like it if all the objects were the same color or something to tie it all together compositionally, but overall your idea is great! Congrats on the originality.
