| A sweet photo. Motherhood is truly something to celebrate. The one thing my eyes keep going to is the purple flower in the background which almost seems to be sitting on the doe's backside like a tail. |

OK, what can we see here. A nice subject, meets the challenge OK, but the image is technically flawed.
Cropped too close at the top and not close enough at the bottom - usually its better to leave a little more space above than below your main subject.
Very harsh lighting too - I'm gessing around noon looking at the shadows. Not the ideal time of day for photography.
And the low angle has placed the white contrasty stones exactly where you don't want them, right accross the middle of the image and worse still exactly where the fawn's head and body are. |

oh no! those bent legs make it look like mom's going to sit on her kid! : )
i would love to see this picture from an angle that would allow both faces to be visible... |
