This is a nice family photo, but compared to other celebration entries in the challenge, it doesn't hold my attention as well. I think perhaps because the three foreground people all have their backs to the viewer. had you taken this from the other side where I could see their expressions, I probably would have scored it higher. |

Family and good times are certainly valid reasons for celebration. However, there are a lot of problems with this shot imho. The background is quite busy. I really think this should have been shot from the front of the people, adding their faces and thus providing of a personal element imho. The lady at the side looks removed from the group -- its difficult to tell if she is meant to be in the shot or another tourist. Don't give up, keep trying and you will see improvement. |

allthough i see it is YOUR reason to celebrate, taking a picture of the back of someones head and giving the title such a huge long name signifies an attempt for brown but im not convinced because the picture is large and clear and sharp. so i offer this advice...
stand where the lady is standing then you would get a more interesting shot . |

faces are more interesting than backs. i would be interested to see this shot taken from the opposite angle, so the viewer could concentrate on the faces instead of the busy background. |

Too busy. Maybe a shot of the trio facing the camera would have been better. This is just too snapshot-ish. |

This looks too much like a snapshot to me. |

You should have chosen a simple title and not tried to explain it in a sentence |

what is the subject of this photo? the background is so busy I can't tell what is going on, and the people in the foreground are facing the other way. 1 |
