this one's shot with a fisheye, right? (not sure, though) I think it's different because you've framed the girl in center of the photo. |

Good choice for the wide-angle perspective.
Not real strong as a celebration submission, but effective and meets the challenge (6) |

Neat fish eye view of a fun looking pumpkin patch. Good colors. I wish the girl was smiling a bit more (to give the impression of celebration a bit more), but that pumpkin does look a bit heavy for her. :-) Hope she had fun carving it. |

Nice! Wish the slight glare on the childs face was not there, however I like the image. |

the distortion from the lens detracts from the photo...the girl ends up looking like she's crying on my screen. and the composition is so cool, and she's got some huge pumpkins, i know she's not really crying... |

Good focus, but I would like it better without the curved effect. |

A sweet and endearing capture. But the lack of tighter focus on the main subject and all the unattractive elements surrounding here weaken the composition. A tighter focus on the little girl tugging the pumpkin on the wagon along the path adorned with pumpkins would have been a much stronger composition. The truck, signs, speaker pole, and telephone wires in the background are unappealing and do nothing to enhance the composition - they detract from it. If the truck was moving I guess you could have waited for it to move out of the frame and zoomed in for a tigher shot such that we don't see that much space to the right and left of her other than a few pumpkins "outlineing" the right and left sides of the newly composed shot. |
