I like this one. Funny I get the opposite feeling from the rest of the commenter's. All these people driving on one side of the road are actually the happy ones. They are on the 'Good side of the road.'
The side thats empty is the bad side, thats why none wants to drive on it. john |

Yup - not being stuck in that traffic would be a reason to celebrate. For me, the color is a bit on the dark side - I wish there was more contrast to the foreground landscape tones. I like the sky. Good luck in the challenge. |

I believe the image has to have some element of "celebration" in it without the Title |

Reminds me of a tv add we have here as vacation traffic is totally paralyzing! Good take, just feel it's a bit dark and some detail is lost. |

great idea & nicely done in B/W! you might have oversharpened? There is quite a contrast between the leaves and sky on the left... |

LOL! The element of celebration is implied, since we can't see your face (well, assuming you are on the right side of the road, LOL!). I love the humor of this photo...it's something most of us can relate to. The S curve of the road is especially nice and you did well capturing enough depth of field throughout. Good for you for taking the time to stop and photograph this scene. A lot of us would have missed the opportunity~ |

Lol! Aint that the truth, did all of these drivers pose for you :P
The photo is nice but I have a tingling feeling I personally would have liked it better in colour as it makes this a bit flat in sepia as the different colours of the cars would have directed the attention to them. Also I have to say that you did a sloppy work with darkening the sky, there is a very visible halo around the trees and cliffs. Anyway the composition is nice and this is definately above average in the challenge, I gave this a 6. |

what a great concept! i know i do a little happy dance when i see all the traffic heading the opposite direction...perfect for this challenge.
the image looks a bit dark on my monitor, but from the headlights in the shot, it's taken at dusk or dawn! that sky shot and the composition is just terriffic. may you finish high, my friend! (and i've only said that to one other person out of 1/3 of the shots so far...) good luck! |

What a great concept and take on the challenge!
The sky looks very ominous so I think I would have preferred it in color. You have some digital haloing effects between the hillside and the skylines and a lot of digital noise in the clouds (midtones).
I would be ultra-p-o-ed to have been in that traffic....sure there was tons of roadrage! |

Love this. All those cars lined up - creates a great leading line. The sepia is a nice touch. I wish there were a bit more contrast, but it was probably late in the day without much light. |
