Them are the breaks.

I was reviewing the shots I'd taken over the past few days for a challenge entry and this was the one that I was most happy with. It wasn't until going though the verification steps that I realised I'd pp'ed some imperfections from under the nostrils and on the left cheek which is against the rules of the basic challenge.

Needless to say it was a stupid thing to do.

I don´t like the crop at the hair. I think you could have cropped at the nose, much more to the left, showing only her left side of the face. Or maybe, you coulde have not cropped this. The light is so good!! I´ll give you 7. 3 because of the picture, and 4 ´cause of the lovely girl.

One of my two favorite "pride and joy" photos. I like how your daughter / granddaughter is offset and the white background works very well with her coloring. Beautiful portrait.
