 This is actually our "rock" fish, Rocky. My son says hello to Rocky when we go down to the dock.

I propped Rocky up so that the view would be concentrated on the "face". My plan was to go out and take a long exposure to get a cloudy / milky look to the water surrounding Rocky. Unfortunately, there was no wind, so some work was required. After triggering the shutter with my remote, an oar was used to create waves and splash around Rocky.

Tripod mounted with a Circular Polarizer, and ND8 and ND4 Cokin Nuetral Gray filters on the lens.

- RAW conversion
- Crop
- Curves Adj. Layer
- Levels Adj. Layer
- Flatten
- Resize
- USM

BTW, I really wish we were allowed to edit out dust spots!!!

The good: focus is spot on. The blur of the water is an excellent effect.
To work on: This is an entry where I would not have come up with the idea without the title. Perhaps a little more centering (but not totally centered, I like the placement, just a tad less extreme).

I cannot make a personification, either physical or emotional, out of this image.
