A tripod would have helped this picture very much..setting the aperture so low doesnt help much with keeping this shot very sharp as well.
A fix for this is to bump up your image in photoshop with levels and brightness/contrast and playing around a bit with curves although it may be tricky if you're a beginer it does wonders to the picture.
now onto the good stuff :)
I love how the building is exposed in this shot it seems to be the only crisp and properly lit subject in this picture and it does a great job at catching your eye. unfortuantely everything surrounding it is very soft.. alot of people on this website tend to love crispness so keep this in mind next time
another thing that could help with this shot would be to shoot in bulb, this is when you hold the button till you feel the proper amount of light is soaked in. try it sometime and see how your shots turn out. I have a nikon and to get to bulb you simply bring the shutter as slow as it goes till it reaches bulb, not sure how it is on the rebel but give it a shot sometime :) |
