While taking photos at my daughter's preschool, I spotted this little boy with an intent look on his face playing. I camped out with my camera pointed between two boards on the playset and he walked by. Before I could get the shot off he decided I was a stranger and moved along. The more I look at this one, the more I like it.

I like this and would have liked it much more but for a couple of things - I would have preferred the boy to have been framed by the photo edge rather than the pole, and the girl is lost in the shape of the guy behind. I do like the candid nature of it though - well done- 8

Cute shot! I'm not sure that the people in the background add to the image, though. It seems like they don't really serve a purpose as far as the shot is concerned -- it would have been interesting to see this without them (no offense to them, of course :)

the people in the back are distracting and i would be more satisfied had more of the childs face been in view. 4
