Good concept, but National Geographic's photos are of such a recognizable style and always crisp as a fresh linen sheet; the blur, pixelation, and weird color balance here tell me that this particular shot has no hope. 4. |

Composition good with strong diagonal lines and nice textures. Poor focus on subject. |

I'm afraid this one just doesn't move me... the focus is rather weak, and it just strikes me as "just a shot of a bug." |

Since the insect is the subject, having a bit sharper focus would help. Perhaps a tripod? |

Very poor focus on the subject and the background is too vast and too dull to make it to NG as a cover. |
