I wasn't going to enter this challenge, but the neighborhood kids were out front goofing around on scooters. The evening sun had the trees and sky lit up nice in the background. I took a couple of test shots to get the background exposure right. I set the camera on manual to that exposure. I then did a couple more test shots to get my flash power right (580EX on a Canon 20D). This is the result! I could not have gotten the action, along with a great sky, without my 20mm Sigma!

do you have a picture with her facial expression during this stunt?

OMG!! He whacked off her head!!!! Guess it wasn't a safety Razor... ;-)
Very good capture with great lighting. Well done! 8

Great capture - the rider looks more scared than the 'victim'! The slant is a little distracting to me and it doesn't really give me the impression of wide angle (even though you clearly used 20mm).

That's one brave kid (the one facing her demise)! Her toes seem to reflect a touch of fear. Awesome capture!

If this weren't so tack sharp, I'd almost say it had too much of a snapshot sense. But it's fun and well executed. I love the perspective. Now tell that girl to go wash off her feet. LOL

Thanks for the smile. 7

Great capture! Excellent lighting and I like the slight tilt to the photo. Can't figure out why you thought we needed to know the focal length...

I'd have liked it more if I could see the face of the person on the ground, preferrably with a fun facial expression.
