 Took this out in the country here on some farmers land. I fell down and got covered in cow crap and then it started to rain on me and I was about a mile from my car, by the time I got back it was pouring out. But I made it out alive...which is good.

As for the picture...I did a lot with curves and saturation. And a little brightness/contrast...and that's it.

This is an exceptional image. I think I enjoy pretty much everything about it: atmosphere, colour, texture. Even the title :) Very nicely done.

Interesting composition. Can't say I get your title, though. I feel the silhouette would be stronger if it were perfectly black--perhaps one example of where applying grain to the entire image weakened a part of it.

Conflicting moods across the image.....full B/W might have been a better choice......like the stark comp.

While there is grain in the sky and the composition is good with the low horizon, the subject matter doesn't hold my interest as well as other entries. Too bad there wasn't any lightening - or something to add a bit more interest.
