I didn't give this a very high score during the challenge as it doesn't hold much interest. Cutesy figurines don't do well in a photographic setting, to me at least. There isn't any artful sense to them and they are already "art" in their own rite. If you choose to do something like this again, I'd make sure that the subject is tack sharp and has some presence in the shot, not just lying there with no forethought. Sitting upright with lots of negative space around might've given them the punch you were hoping for.

It's just kinda cute.....I have Precious Moments Figurines and they are all very delicate colors, alabaster and soft, pale pastels....this is a gray/silver and a touch of white, which doesn't really do the Precious Moments coloring justice. |

In my opinion I don't think it is a light on white because the background looks a little grey. But on the other hand I really like the composition |
