gives the feel of the country fairground at night - the lights arching up into the large darkness of the sky. Good use of off-center

neat image. I like the angle, and the tease of seeing only part. I keep thinking if I just turn my head, I'll be able to see the rest of the ferris wheel! LOL

Simple idea magnificently done. Very nice work. Super use of negative space here.

Nice sharp focus for a long exposure, I guess the ride was closed for the night? Meets the challenge. I think I would like to see a little more (not much though) of the wheel and less negative space, but that\'s just personal preference. (6)

This could have worked in 'Magazine Cover' - lots of white space (yes I know it's black) for text etc!
I like the composition - it's nice to see just a small study of the wheel, rather than the whole.
I'd like to see the same crop but taken a second later when the carriages are higher and all three are fully in frame.
Nice border choice.

First of all, you have managed to capture the romance of the ferris wheel in a very beautiful way. I love the red and amber colors against the black sky and the fact that the cars are void of passengers is interesting to me. Look at how you captured the individual lights slong the spokes of the wheel. Your subject is so sharp and clean I can even read the numbers on the cars. As a side note, I also appreciate the creativity of your title. This is a perfect shot for this season of weekend festivals and carnivals.

Good night shot. I probably wouldn't have minded a little more of the wheel in the picture, though.
