Well done. I think that the grain really does something nice for the end result here. Almost a ghost like feeling and nice character to the sky. Probably not quite as strong a sky without the grain.

Wonderful feel to this image! It reminds me of those turn-of-the-century souvenir cards. I could just as easily be the ancient wall in Istanbul. Beautiful rendering of the tones. Composition just sucks me in! Good luck! (One of my top picks for the challenge.)

Interesting place - your treatment gives it a spooky feel. Some of the lighter areas seem almost a bit too processed, but it looks like a very old photo - good grain image. 8

very spooky in a stuffy english sort of way. THis is so interesting to the eye I can't stop looking. Quite amazing really.

8 - Great effect(s). Good use of grain for the Challenge. Criticism; not much, I like the effect the grain has achieved in this shot, and while tempted to say I'd like to see the 'surface'(?) more - I can't actually discern where it is/starts. A little 'more' (dependent) to the left of frame may have made this better in my opinion. Maybe a different frame, not sure.

Nice shot. Looks a bit too posterised to me - almost like a charcoal drawing. I guess that's the intention in which case very well done indeed. Just not very appealing to my personal taste. 7
