 Taken as a rain shower started and ran us out of the pool. Still had strong light from the West. The shoes looked so lonely there in the rain.

Pretty picture over all. The shoes don't seem much like the subject with all the bulk of what's above the pool, though.

Composition is great the shoes are the first thing we see alone in the bottom, the curve of the pool draws our eyes arounf the the chairs. Wish the back left weren't so dark - it makes it hard to see compared to the bright stones inthe foreground.

Some fancy leather women's shoes would have added some drama to the situation. these seem to be where they belong. good idea and setting nevertheless

A neat shot. I must admit, though, that without the title, it would have been hard to say what exactly the subject was. That makes this just a little bit of a stretch for the challenge, in my opinion, but I still like it a lot.

If the shoes are the main subject which they are, i wouldnt have known what to look for had i not seen the title, its a good photo though, 7
