Wow. Amazing that I get this image, when just 2 minutes ago I added it to my shopping cart at DPCPrints. Can't buy it though cause I don't have a credit card though, so I have to pick out a bunch of images then I can send it a money order. Anyway, this is the first shot I've ever added to my cart to buy.
About the shot. I really like it. It's got personality and attitude.
The angle and framing/cropping are perfect. I really like the closeness of the cropping, and you have cropped in all the right places. Usually cropped hands, feet, knees bothers me, but here you have cropped your knee and hand, but I like it this way. I think it works because you have 'cropped' in a way other parts of the shot with the lighting.
I just love the mood of this shot.
Black and white really works here because not only do you have white on black, but you also have black on white. The tattoos really add to this shot for me.
Overall it's really appealing. Not just cause you're a good looking guy, but the personality, lighting, and focus and clarity are all really great.
And you work at a pet store like me, so maybe I'm just partial. lol They're making me shift manager on the 5th..woohoo.
Great shot!

Cool shot, looks like your emerging from the darkness. I think the crop at the bottom is a little too tight, maybe just a little more space needed there. Nice work. |

reminds me of the lead singer of sugar ray, mark mcgrath. Cool tattoos, and good lighting too, I like how you fill the frame. |

I like how your body art adds to the light and dark tones in this image. |

since you reference your ink inthe pic, I'd like to see it more highlighted. especially the one on the right...I keep wondering what it is. nice shot in any case. |

The lighting is gorgeous...the choice of frame along with the dark negative space on top well planned. Only comment I have (and this may sound weird) is that I would have liked it better if the part between the chest and the crotch area was in shadows. The bellybutton gets all the attention when I look at it, when the face and hand position should.
I gave you an 8. |

Hey man,
Ink for life. I guess that means the Tatoos. I think you have four of them visiable here. i like how they are on't partially visable, leaving more to the imagination. Nice lighting and use of B/W. Good composition. Nice |

I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Very much so. Lots of character in eyes.
artistic/creativity? Good use of shadows and pose is good.
Technical?fine
Overall?Good image. |

The tats make this look cool. I would get rid of the border though, it distracts from the image. better all balck in my humble opinion. |

Excellent dramatic lighting and I like your use of negative space here. I just think your pose does not show off your tatoos, which seems to be the subject of your title. Well done! |

The pose is interesting, although not a fan of having the knee cropped out. The tonal range of the skin is good, and the shadowed face is interesting, but I think the shadow of the face onto the shoulder seems a little off - had the shadow covered the entire shoulder maybe, but it just seems odd as is. The dark areas do provide a nice broody feel to the image that I like. As the title of the shot is 'Ink for Life' I would have liked to have seen more of the ink, as it is the tats on the shoulders are half obscured by shadow and are more of an addition than the main focus, which the title kinda suggests. |

Great photograph, I can appreciate it :):) Honestly now, I think there's one minor flaw which bugs me about it. I love the lighting, I love the skin tone, it's gorgeous, but it bugs me that you cut out your left hand. It makes me wonder what it's doing.. lovely. |
