Would have preferred for a self portrait, for you to take up a bit more of the image, but apart from that, this pic is hard to fault, the composition lighting and angle all work extremely well. It's the kind of shot you would see on an artists CD album cover and as such I find this works really well. |

This is exactly what a successful portrait should look like... an image that reveals, or at least leads us to believe that something is being revealed, about the subject, with an interesting and uncluttered background/context. Expsosure is right on the nose, and the contrast range is excellent!
Top marks from me... |

Marvelous tones and use of light here. I'm not sure what your weakness is, but the mood of the photo matches your expression very well. |

Creative, attention-getting angle to shoot from, and the background adds visual interest. The sweater kind of disappears into the background, though. More definition in that lower-left corner would make this a better photo. |

I like the addition of the area inside your self portrait. Very moody shot, you seem very serious. I like the angle you took it in as well. The lighting is superb, and so is the focus. well done. |

Very nice tones in this photo. Nice angle, IMO just a little too much light on your face. It looks a little blown out. In my top 3 for the week. |

Hi. I have a trouble finding what is the weekness your title is refering to. Doesn't matter. This is a superb photo. Excellent use of B&W and from bellow point of view. I adore the vertical lines in this shot. Great choice of location. Excellent pose. 9 |

I'm not seeing a weekness here, but it must be a personal thing to you. I really like the use of black and white here. I also like the patterns created by the background. Lighting is a slight bit harsh on your left cheek, but nothing serious. I like the from below view. I think it works in this case because we aren't close enough to see up your nose. I also like how this is divided dark and light. I think that makes for a visually interesting shot. |
