I think that the subject in this IS centered. Lighting effect is very good.

very nice photo and would do well in self portrait, but my eye is drawn ti the nose, which ti me is right in the center of the photo.

Very interesting lighting and what an interesting image you've created. I like this one. High marks for this one.

Interesting coloration. Too much lighting on the nose and not really off center 5

The photo looks slightly tilted to the right to my eyes, and I'm wondering if it's oversharpened or if you applied to much contrast improvement. The light looks a bit harsh. I like the eyebrows though.

Kinda spooky :) I suppose it meets the challenge, but in kind of a weird way. In other words, I'm guessing that your intent was to highlight the left side of the face ("the subject") while leaving the other side dark. But since the other half of the face is "implied," it still seems centered to me... but that's just my rambling. It's still an interesting shot with a cool mood to it.

Very nice. I like it. Good use of duotone. Really love the focus and mixture of softness and contrast, esp on the eyebrow. Not sure how well this meets the challenge, sine the subject is pretty much right in the center, but you decided to use lights to cover it up. Still an 8 from me.
