I would have liked a little more light on the surfer's face for this to be a spectacular shot but it is certainly a great shot. You caught him at just the right moment - well done. |

This is a problem that all surf photogs face.... sillouetting. This is what I do for extra money, and the best time of day to shoot is a dusk, using flash from the shore to get your key light, using the sun as a back light.
Color bland, lighting kind of toppy, b&w good, capture great, lines nice, can't see subject, overall a great attempt. |

I really like the photo, however if I may suggest, the lighting on the subject needs to be better, I realize under the shooting situation it may have been impossible but it would have been a 10 from me had you been able to make out his face. |
