Aperture: F/5.6
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/250 sec

taken at high speed. due to a lack of time i just tried to make something that would fit the challenge. problems i see before voting and comments begin are...too much bowl and not enough splash, noise, and not the best splash to begin with.

post-processing...curves and desat on yellow(had spotlight on bowl that made the milk yellow)

Unfortunately, neither one is in focus.

It would have been better if you could actually see the strawberry causing the wave. But great effort.

I like this shot, but the grain kind of detracts from it.

A little more sharpness would do a lot better for this photo.
i think showing the bowl ruins the picture in some way:(

DOF is kinda small I expect that in this type of shot, but with the title it would be nice to see a strawberry in focus 5

I wish the foreground were sharper, but I like that you don't see the strawberries, except in the background.

Nice try. Shutter speed - not fast enough. The larger DOF typically works better for such images - the front of the bowl is out of focus, so it was better off cropped out. Also, the red items (strawberries I presume) are also OOF, and the main object - the splash - is unfortunately also OOF. It looks like you focused on the back side of the bowl.
Keep practicing, and you'll be able to do it much better. I'm not sure how high you can bump your ISO, but you should try using as much light as possible (external reflectors or strobes from multiple directions) in addition to flash, so that you can stop the aperture down and still work with fast shutter.

I want to see the berry hitting the milk. This photo is technically good, but not attractive.

In fact, I think the strawberries were superflous to this shot. The milk on it's own would have been good enough - the red in the background is a little distracting.
