The carving on it's own looks pretty good. The photo, IMHO, could have had better focus and lighting. JMO.

You've done some intricate carving here. The glow is nice. However, you've lost the sharpness of the carving in your phot and left me without any feeling that it really is a pumpkin. (I don't find the subject appealing either.
