Played with levels. Converted to greyscale, contrast and a USM.

I hate pictures of myself. Please be kind.

aww..thanks. I wish the pose I liked better had been in focus. It was a disaster trying to reshoot it.

I think this needs to be cropped either a lot closer or a lot farther. Right now it's at a midpoint that doesn't work really well for me.

love the shot... however i think a natural light would have been more flattering rather then a harsh spot light

I guess I can put your name on here since no one else will see it until the voting is over. Hmm, was this one taken over here or over there?
Any ways. Like the the choice of B/W. The highlights and shodows really give this photo a nice depth. I think you cropped a little too much off the top here. If I was to nit-pick, I might have tried to crop out as much of the stool as possible too. Also if you could have put the background out of focus, but somehow I get the feeling that there wasn't enought room.
