I took this last night in Elgin TX.
To me, it is a setting where you can just sit and loose yourself in the moment. Where you can let your mind become numb to the negative and bask in creative thought.

I used a few adjustment layers for color effect and balance, which I read to be accepted in the editing rules, and I hope I'm not wrong... If I am, it's not in anyway intentional.

I hope you guys enjoy...

unusual composition works well here.

nice shot, the sun is always difficult to capture, but you've done a wonderful job

good color

Well composed sunset. Use of telephoto to make a large sun in the sky always works well for a sunset. The reds were a little overprocessed as evidenced by the reddish hue in the branches of the trees.

What I really like about this photo is that it hurts to stare it it because of the sun. It's a perfect representation of staring into brilliant sunset -- beautiful, but somewhat painful. I think it would be more effective, though, if you cropped the 1/2 inch or so of dark clouds from the top.

I'm drawn by the overall color...I like the richness of it. Nice photo!

Your title says it all.......too much really. I can't make up my own interpretation or impression of your photo. Imagination is born would have been enough, IMHO.
Technical impression...this is pretty but I think I would like it better if the top cloud masses were cropped out.

Stunning capture!

WOW! Outstanding shot! This HAS to be near the top, if not ribbon. Love the silhouette of the trees and the dark framing created by the clouds and ground. Great exposure, with minimal noise in the lower right corner. Very cool! <10>

A very nice silhouette shot. One thing I don't like is the black cloud. You could have either changed the view distance or croped that cloud out. It gives me a feeling of constraint where the whole image shows me peace and freedome.

It's a 7

NICE

The color is great. A little darker would be more dramatic and let the trees be very dark against the sky.

Very nice. My kinda picture. A bit overexposed for my liking, but one of my top picks anyhow. Good luck.

Beautiful colour.

I think I might have cropped this a bit more at the top - my mind is telling me it would be more effective. Lovely shot though - great silhouettes and colour.
