Thanks for voting.
If you looked at my photo outtakes you could see I had lots of obvious cast shadow pictures. What I saw in this shot was what happens when shadows within the contour of an object transform what we see into something neat..like turning a bath sponge into a delicate rose with petals.
The reflection on the surface of the bathtub is just that..A reflection and was not supposed to be considered the shadow element. The shadow play 'INSIDE' the sponge makes the edges into petals and the Depth of Field within the "Rose".
Anyway, just another way to look at what is a shadow.

this is my favorite shot of the week, but i think the shadow aspect of it is pretty weak. |

I really like the lighting on this, even though the top is a bit blown out. The water droplets in the lower right really add to the photo. Very interesting, creative shot. Well done! |

The shadow just isn't very pronounced. |

Interesting, a bit busy, technically more reflection than shadow (rejected my first piece for this reason) Really busy subject, like the water spots. Photo 8 Creativity 7 Shadows 7 total 7 |

Very nice, delicate shot, gorgeous colours and lighting. The drops of water are a nice touch. |

Nice backdrop and surface. I like the way you blew out the background with a smooth graduation from the foreground. The water droplets are a nice touch. It would be nice to have a stronger shadow. Maybe a more direct light source would help, but of course with other side effects to deal with. Good job on this one. |

Hummm, not sure what this netting is...but ya got it captured very well and the water drops are too cool. My only nit is the back lighting is little too harsh...fried some, but I like this. |

IMO, there's not enough of the shadow to see, the background is a little too blown out, and the water droplets distract from the shot. I do like the webrose, with a little more experimentation with lighting and angles, that could make for a really great shot. |
