It was only a matter of time before I did something like this. I'm not sure how this shot will go over, but I hope people get it and enjoy it. I took this shot Wednesday morning at 4 AM battling a migraine; I guess that explains the dark and ominous mood this shot portrays.
If you're wondering how I was able to get the Dark Lord of the Sith to pose for me, I must confess, this isn't the real deal. It's a cake topper that my 7 year old was good enough to let me use in this shot. I was amazed at the detail of this bust of ol' Vader and have been waiting for a chance to shoot it. I love the feeling this shot gives off. To achieve this effect I used a red LED light pen to illuminate Lord Vader and towards the end of the shot drug it through the camera frame to create the light saber effect.
Every time I view this shot I can just hear his breathing and can't help but think, YOU HAVE LEARNED MUCH YOUNG ONE!"

Sorry, I didn't vote that particular Challenge.
Your score would have gone up a tad if I had.
Easily worth high numbers. |
