I wanted to portray these shadows, this situation, exactly as i saw them/it (albeit a narrower field of view) ...i could have used the polarizer but that would have destroyed the "exactly as i saw it" look i was going for...because it was on a glass topped table, of course there would be reflections

The reflections from the sun/flash don't do this image any justice.

Interesting reflections ...

Very interesting! I like the shadows and the reflections here... good work! - jmsetzler

wow! very nice.....I like the overall effect you've achieved with the glasses, table and position of the shadows. Three different planes to view is also unique (reflections in the glass table, the items on the table, the shadows and floor below the table)

I like the composition- a frame of shadow in the frame, what disturbs me a little about this frame is that the perspective of the objects and the shadows are contrary to each other, creating a little confusion to my eyes.

Interesting shadow photo. I think it would have been a little better if you didn't have the reflections of the glasses on the glass, possibly by changing the camera angle or with a polarizer.

Nice angle and textures.

very nicely done---well framed for the shadow and also a quality shot--9

I like the effect of the reflections and the shadow through the glasses.

Wonderful idea! I think that this simple arrangement works. Not a complaint, but I'm wondering if you tried using a polarizer to eliminate the reflections and if so did it help or hinder the photo?

The reflection is too much... would be a better shot with either the reflections or the shadows. still above average though.

Good idea but I think you could have taken a few more shots to get the composition worked out. There's too much going on with shadows and reflections overlapping.

Nice idea, but better if the second glass was showing more than just its base
