I expected this to get a higher placing, I think it is a great photo.
Must have taken some time to capture those lovely birds.

Hi Pauline, he just pipped you this time. I couldn't have spotted this as a Yorkshire image, could have been anywhere. The three have a nice feel and sit well together. Well done.

| 7 - Good. Nice colors and tones, good 'balance'. Criticism; not much, and difficult with the size restrictions, perhaps a little more space 'below' each (depending what you had of course), may have given this a different edge, not sure. Good captures and seemingly good contrast control. Up to 7 from 6. |

| This is beautifully rendered. I'm vaguely uneasy about the overall greenish-cyan cast, but I'm sure it was a conscious decision on your part. There's nevertheless a sense that the dominant cyans don't quite match int he 3 panels, and this is bothering me a little. Good luck with this entry; I believe you'll do very well. |

| I like this. Only beef is the slightly different exposure on the left. But this was a hard challenge to get things exaclty right (I don't think I did). The symmetry is nice. The gulls look a little blue though. 7 |

| Nice shots, I like the different poses you caught which are very appealing and graceful. The light blue cast on some areas of the image is a bit distracting but that's a minor nit-pick. Good image, I like the idea you had. |
