Perhaps the pics could have been cropped tighter at the sides, this would have given you more depth to use overall although the rule of thirds works well. The boats would have had more focus, especially the outer two pics.

Yes, another single image that works. Each panel, although 1/3rd of a larger vista has its own subject and works as it's own picture. It's too bad the trees were not lit better. 7

How does the division of your picture into three frames enhance the photo? How does this "tell...a story or illustrates a concept or object" better than the original image?
