I was sitting, browsing DPC. Then, I thought how my laptop dramatically lit the keyboard. So, I grabbed a black portfolio sitting next to me, placed it on the keyboard, and set the mouse on top of it. Then I pulled the screen down a bit to light the mouse. That is the DPC submission screen in the background ;o) I shot RAW w/ small JPEG.....this is the JPEG, no editing whatsoever.

My apologies. :( apparently what I thought was a window blind was actually the computer screen.

A hard one to take wiht a single lightsource. I think the mouse should be brigher in the image, but I like the monitor as it is. Good concept, maybe worth redoing wiht more than a single lightsource for outside of the challenge?

nice picture but I see two light sources in this, the screen and the light on the underside of the mouse, taking off one point

Would that be left click or right ... maybe even double; nice photo and meets the challenge ... 7 (bumping up to 8)

That's two light sources.

How about something interesting on the screen, perhaps instructions on how to use the mouse, e.g., how to position it -- yes, the wheel side looks more interesting from this angle.

Not a bad image, but I just don't find the subject very inspiring/unusual.
