Nice photo! You are very kind to call the derogatory comments "helpful" -- though I suppose with the right attitude we can learn from everyone.

My congratulations to you on a very well done picture. It's a shame some people couldn't see this picture for what it is, a technically well executed picture, a wonderful use of the human body as well, and an excellent use of an art form to convey an emotion

The only people who had a problem with this were adolescent boys.

Don't worry about what anybody else has said. I like it. To me a person has the beauty on the inside. You just need to look in their eyes to see that. If a person wants to do a nude study then they should. Regardless of their size, shape...or how much hair. It is just a part of the shell they were given. Why should it be classed as wrong? Keep your chin up...what you did was very brave...and I can guarantee you that this image is very pleasing to the eye. I have seen some horrid nudes and this certainly isn't in that category. But regardless....you can at least say that you have tried something new....the others can't.

what a lame picture... I can only imagine a man, maybe you, getting naked and taking this shot and trying to turn it into something dramatic by adding the title "wish you were here" ... in my opinion very unoriginal and typical...

if you're going to do a nude.. make it someone that's shaved, looks more "greek" or romanesque (if thats even a word) like the concept though!! good job!!!

Reminds me of that old James Taylor cover, yet this is more artful and interesting with the light and shadow. Great shot!!! 8
