 Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. I always think those stark even rows of clean white graves looks so noble and gallant. My mom was buried here last year. She definitely deserves to be resting in nobility and gallantry! Even tho I know she's not resting at all. . .she is dancing with the angels. But I still like paying tribute and honor to her life in a place like this.

Hey, I never even got a chance to vote, but this is excellent!
I usualy don't like graveyard shots, but this is awsome. And a very out of the box thinking. I like it!

This is a great shot. Love the patterns and the colors. Composition is superb as well, with the pattern of stones leading you in from lower left.

At first I rated this picture a 2 because the title offended me. The death of our soldiers should not be used in a political statement for either side. Then I realized my grading was a political statement. It is a beautiful picture - well balanced and exposed perfectly. So, I changed my grade to a 9. Good job!

I was a little disappointed in this challenge, until I saw your image. I found it pretty spectacular. Not only have you really met my interpretation of 'even' but you have captured the scene beautifully. The colour of the sky (and clouds) the darkness of the tree and the stark white of the markers. Great shot.

Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery? I suppose there are many others that look the same :-) The connection to "even" is tenuous at best here, but it's a nice image.

Oh, this is just stunning. The rows of tombstones against the beautiful sky with that looming tree. WOW. I love the leading line of it. Great clarity too. 10 10 10
