 I have always like Scottish artist Jack Vettriano. Some of his work can be found Here.

I thought I would try to produce a photograph to emulate what he does with canvas and oils.

The outcome is what I was looking for, so for that reason, I am very happy. Let’s see how the voting community feel….

Love what you did with this - creates a wonderful warm feel, and a bit of a sense of mystery. That red in her skirt is just perfect, too.

Well, I definately don't understand the voting on this photo. This is an excellently executed work of art. The tones, the mood, the composition, everything is perfectly executed. The style and technique are very creative and original. Regardless of taste there is no way there should of been a vote below 5. I think I'll just become jaded and cynical now, this is an injustice.
