Wonderful tones and lines. B/W is very effective.

I love how this chot conveys such a sense of quietness, longing and emotion without even seeing your subjects face. Good use of B&W. One of my favorites.

I think i would like this more if the person was looking into the frame rather than out of it, but other than that its a good composition, good tones, but it doesnt really look to me like doing work. Still a 7

Really like this - good composition and use of space - though I'm not sure I would have personally used so much white sky - 8

Nice tones in the wood and dress. Would like to have seen at least part of the face to see the attitude.

Black and white definitely enhances the old-times feel that is envoked by the woman's dress, good choice. I don't mind seeing her back since she is looking out for something, however, I think this would be better portrayed if she was in the left of the photo and had room to look into on the right. I don't know what was to the right that might have prevented you from composing that way. Also, the sky adds nothing to the photo since it is bland and doesn't have much texture, cropping this to a squarish format (just above the post) might have enhanced this.

You've successfully given this image an old fashioned look. Something you'd find in and old magazine perhaps - 9.
