::: Critique Club :::
I find it very difficult to provide an in-depth critique without the photographers comments explaining the setup, process and aim of the shot.
First Impression - the most important one:
A fairy bland and motion-blurred photo
Composition:
Images where the main point of interest is centred tend to be less appealing and attrack more votes than those that de-centralise.
Subject:
Two of something pretty much meets the challenge brief but if a magazine editor contracted you to go out and get an image that illustrated even, this wouldn't be what you submitted. The bikes would be neck and neck or they would be at exactly the same height etc etc.
Technical (Colour and light):
The motion blur is obviously not intentional becaue it's not controlled accross the image. If a camera or the light doesn't enable complete stp motion, then the motion can be made intentional by panning with the bikes and blurring the background.
To get a Ribbon?:
Wait later as the sun get even lower, crop off centre, get full motion or none and illustrate the brief "Even" so it could appear in a magazine without a caption and be understood.

maybe if the guy in the back wasn't so croched it'd look perfect. but nice shot. |

the sign under the rear wheel distracts from this strong image |

Nice stop action, the colors seem a little washed out. |

well timed. the slight overlap of the shapes of the bikers makes this more interesting than it would be otherwise. the title ties in with that nicely. |
