This is a snapshot of my son playing "Knight" outside when he realized his big brother left without him. He is here for being just one... the odd man out.

I realize the red eye will hurt me... but it was easy to fix for printing. I am hoping for a real flash for Christmas. I loved the contrast between the costume and the expression... so I used it anyway.

His sadness says it all. Shame about the red eye.

Real expression of face. Sometimes life does not look nice, but it is beautiful anyway...

Amazing expression, perhaps 'dumfounded' might be the closest term.
One can see the effects of an on-axis flash here, the flatness of the face and the red eye. I would suggest experimenting with diffusers or bounce flash, if you can.

You need to fix the red eye. Lighting is terrible.
