Keep trying. Your technique will improve. Try NOT using on camera flash unless it is an absolute necessity. NEVER use on camera flash and your images will improve vastly. If you have trouble figuring out how to do that with your model camera, simply place a strip of electrical tape over the flash. |

The off center composition and high contrast are unconventional, but it works. I didn't particularly like this photo when I first saw it, but the more I examine it the more I like it. |

Not in sharp focus and glare in eyes really distracts from the beast. |

Use of flash has flattened the image and the eyes as you can seeare gone... |

Nice close up, but the flash in the eyes ruin it. Image editing could have fixed it. |
