 My brothers bug collection. Had fun with this one and I hope everyone enjoys. Didn't really like the black BG but it was available.

Walk to the light. Nice idea, I think it would be more mysterious if the light in the box was lower like the angle on the critters on the black fabric. that way the white of the box woldn't be so distracting.

6 - Very good idea, well done if it is original. Criticism; you haven't quite achieved the full potential in this shot in my opinion. Whether it is the focus, angle, lighting, not sure. Perhaps using up 640 in both directions and gaining more symmetry may also have helped this. Not sure on the framing, it detracts in my opinion. edit:typo

Very clever shot, kind of a creepy thought. I think I'd like more color and contrast to show off the bugs, especially the butterflies....but overall I enjoy it a lot :)

Oh, that is a really great idea! Very original presentation. Well-lit, well-composed, great idea how they're carrying their tags with them, because that allows you to see the darker ones on the black background. I really like this picture. You ought to make it available as a print.
