Hiding it is the part I take issue with unless the image was of only the smoke coming from behind a large stand of trees. The foreground muddles the focus. Where exactly are my eyes supposed to be looking? The smoke and sky are beautifully done though. |

I love the billowing steam/smoke leading your eye from left to right. I'd up the blue saturation even further. |

Okay I love the steam/smoke/sky tones very cool and along with the plant it fits the challenge perfectly. However, I'm not sure how I'm liking the trees in the foreground though. I see what you were going for hiding the (refinery I'm guessing) plant but I guess I would have liked to see more detail in the foreground subjects as well. 6 for awesome contrast in the sky and tack sharp detail in the plant structures. |
