Cool that's a neat idea. I am assuming he/she is walking on your camera lense. Maybe he's on a glass table top. Great idea. With a focused head it would be perfect. Nice capture. |

Interesting perspective. Would like to see the focus more on the head than on the lower body. |

Macros have to be in very sharp focus. |

Good capture, but his face is so out of focus. |

I think the head should be more in focus. |

Good luck on this macro study. The head needs to be sharper though. |

Cool picture, but the focus needs to be on the eyes, not the torso. |

I'm afraid too much of the most intriguing portion -- his head -- is off focus. |

Unusual image of a Mantis the focus seems to be on its abdomen

Interesting view on this one but unfortunately, the focus point seems to be off quite a bit. |

Would have been fantastic if it's head was in focus. I know how difficult is to shoot insects so I appreciate your effort. Good colors and angle. |

5 - Good perspective. Criticism; depending of course what you had to work with, the feet (especially front four) all showing/not 'cut', and trying to get the head in just a little more focus (wouldn't even have to be sharp to make this still a good shot in my opinion) would have made this better. Given 'advanced editing', those 2 or 3 'spots' upper right and middle bottom, could/should have been cloned out. Difficult with contrast issues (and maybe cropping out more of the dark 'end body', who knows), but the green a little more vivid too, would also have made this even better in my opinion. edit:typos

This would have been great if more DOF or focused on the head. Nice shot anyway with the blue background. |

I think having the head in focus would have been better. |

the focus is unfortunately on the mantis' behind rather than it's head. |

i would have prefered to see the head in focus rather then the body... 5 |
