To me, this subjiect is not verry interesting. maybe taking the picture from a diffrent angle would have made it better. also, it appears that the built in flash was used, and made a bad effect with shadows. 2

To be honest, this has a 'snapshot' feel to me. I know, everyone hates that word. The reason I'm saying that is the composition (taking the photo from eye-level height), the shadow from the flash, the maestro not looking at the camera, plus some of the background. Maybe getting lower down, so you get more of his face, or closeup of the hands on the zither (I know, that would be a different photo) would be more interesting here (to me, that is).

try diffusing your flash- you can bounce it off the ceiling or if you are looking for a cheap route you can rubber band a plastic spoon over the on board flash :0)

Avoid direct flash (see that harsh shadow close to face?) Otherwise interesting and correctly composed photo...5
