*Critique Club*

I am going to be honest and tell you that I really did not like this idea. A fork sticking out of someones mouth does not hold my interest at all. It doesn't make any sense to me. I realize that one version of this scored very high and rec a ribbon. I wouldn't have told you this if I had not rec your picture to critique. But I feel the need to be straight foward. This is just my person opinion for your "idea" for the challenge, not the quality of your work.

I do like the man with the scarlet drape on though. He is very interesting. I even like the contrasty tone and colors. The background would have been better without the folds in the fabric or even a natural setting maybe. It is a little grainy or noisy, but I think that it looks good that way. You also cropped this very well.

Good light. Although ironically, I can't help thinking this photo would have been better without the fork.

Someone else did this same thing and I liked theirs better because the fork didn't hang so far out of the mouth. It looked more natural with just the tines hanging out. You couldn't tell that it was being held by her teeth like you can in yours. He is obviously biting it. If his mouth were closed a little more around the handle, that would help a bit. I like the grain and color though!
