Good story line. Too much clutter

I'd kill my kids if they played in the chimney this way!? What do they think this is a Mary Poppins movie!? Colors could be brighter.

Great shot for the season, a lot of color, nice and sharp and for kids that age, it can never be "too early" to check"! 10!

Cute. A fun family photo but a bit too busy for my sensibilities. There's so much to see here that my eyes weren't immediately drawn to the children. I think removing some of the items from the mantle (leave the clock, the greenery, and the candlesticks) and also removing the standing Santa figure and replacing it with something simpler (a pointsettia or some logs for the fire perhaps?) would improve this quite a bit by bringing more visual focus to the boys and eliminating quite a bit of unnecessary visual clutter. Frame it to make the boys the central weight of the image and eliminate most of the wall over the mantle. The stockings are enough of a clue. If you wanted to simplify it even further, you could hang simpler stockings just for the sake of the photo, e.g., all one color without all the different prints and lettering. Also, maybe the boys could be wearing pajamas or dressier clothes?

I find the photograph pleasant to look at and the two children who enter the chimney. Personally I would not have cut the legs

I think a tighter crop -- to the mantle, maybe -- would have helped this image. It's a really cute pose and idea.

Exactly. I get the idea right away. This is the theme I used also. Good luck. The colors and items are good but the framed item is questionable. Or capture the complete framed object of the boys.

This is fun and well done. White balance may be a tad off, but not detrementally. 9

This is a great idea and fairly well executed. Nice colours. Only nitpicks are that I wish you had gotten all the children, including their feet, in the picture. I love the fact that you have a picture of the kids above the mantel and can understand why you didn't want to chop it. Maybe if it were a bit lower though you could have got the kids feet in and the top of the frame. Good Luck! It is a great picture despite.

I think this would have to be the best Xmas photo in this challenge, and also at the righr time. Great detail, sharp image and it tells a story as well.
