I'm not sure the reflection helps the photo. It causes the earrings (?) to blend together into what appears to be a single blob (a very expensive blob probably) And the background is rather questionable as well. The red ball is kind of odd and it's reflection is right next to the earrings. |

I love reflections but this is too much and takes away from the pretty stones. |

Don't know if the subject is strong enough against the background.
Interesting though |

I think that a closer crop would emphasize what is being 'sold'. |

the reflection is making the object seem unclear I cant tell exactly what I am looking at beyond its some kind of jewlery |

Diamonds are forever...but unless they're canary diamonds, they shouldn't be yellow... |

Hmmm, why am I seeing ghost images of the jewlery? It looks like it was moving or something. It looks a little blurry too. |

The reflection is a bit too defined, IMHO. It confuses a bit |

This would have been perfect for me without the mirror and if the diamonds looked white. |

This looks like a good idea but the stones are not reflected well.....and i'm not sure what to comment about the problem. I have tremendous problems lighting jewelry too. Good imagination though. |

I appreciate the effort, you really tried to do a christmas catalog item. However, I find that reflection hard to look at - I guess it is because there is more than ONE reflection, there seem to be several layers of it.
The placement of the studs could be better, too - this is too close to dead center, but not even quite there. |

The mirror makes it confusing and busy... |

I've tried a shot like this before, and with the same results in the reflection with the ghosting. One comment was made to me about the lighting, and if there was more than one light. I guess multiple lights will do that to the reflection. Just food for thought! |
